About Anita Pettersen, BECCEd:
I began studying and working in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education in 1992, and I went on to receive my degree in Early Childhood Education from Capilano University, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I am the daughter of European immigrants, and was raised in the Vancouver area by my metaphysically-minded mother. During a childhood filled with magical experiences, I began my intentional metaphysical studies at age eleven. I am a perpetual student with an eclectic study and work resumé, but being a parent is my greatest experience. My diverse interests are a part of my ongoing interdisciplinary quest to honour the integrated heart space of my ethic of a body–mind–spirit connection that deepens intuition. I am a writer, researcher and presenter on these matters. My inquiries into spiritual pedagogies, Indigenous knowledges and the quantum are my efforts to make spaces for ethical and spiritual investigations to flourish.
